Limburg deserves a full symphony orchestra<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both Limburgs deserves a full symphony orchestra. This idea already played an important role during the studies of conductor and founder Benny Quix, who was called Benjamin during his studies abroad. In March 2022 he took the initiative and together with his childhood friend Willy Lenssen it was decided to start the Interregional  Symphony Orchestra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The orchestra will consist of a full orchestra of 79 musicians, to perform works from the Romantic period and later. To perform modern works as well as film music, the orchestra is supplemented with adapted instruments and, of course, the musicians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Musical requirements<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to become a playing member of the ISO, the musicians must comply  certain conditions. To give everyone the chance to make music with a professional orchestra, both people who have been studied at conservatories and people who have built up a similar playing level through self-study must do audition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Purpose of the orchestra<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Promote the technical and musical development of the orchestra members and of the orchestra . At local, regional and interregional level, promote cooperation with education, government, song and dance associations. We wish to offer exciting and inspiring programs for a diverse audience in order to lower the threshold for the public and to strengthen social cohesion in the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strengthening the economic finality of the regions, whereby the centrally located city of Genk with available accommodation,  becomes an important showcase as a multicultural and ethnically versatile city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The headquarters of the orchestra are located at Hoogstraat 11 box 2 in 3600 Genk, 

The Concerts scheduled in november will take place in the Schouwburg -Zaal Casino Modern, Andr\u00e9 Dumontlaan 2, 3600 Genk<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Limburg verdient een volwaardig symfonieorkest<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beide Limburgen BE en NL verdienen een volwaardig symfonieorkest. Deze gedachte  speelde al een hele tijd een rol tijdens de studies van dirigent en oprichter Benny Quix, in het buitenland ook Benjamin genoemd. In maart 2022 nam hij het initiatief en samen met zijn jeugdvriend Willy Lenssen werd besloten het Interregional Symphony Orchestra op te richten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het orkest zal bestaan met een voltallige bezetting van 79 musici om werken uit te voeren uit de periode van de Romantiek en later. Om moderne werken alsook filmmuziek uit te voeren wordt het orkest aangevuld  met aangepast instrumentarium en natuurlijk de musici.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Muzikale vereisten<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Om spelend lid te kunnen worden van het ISO moeten de musici aan bepaalde voorwaarden voldoen. Om iedereen kans te geven te musiceren bij een professioneel orkest moeten zowel personen die opgeleid zijn aan conservatoria alsook personen die door zelfstudie een gelijkaardig speelniveau hebben opgebouwd auditie doen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doel van het orkest<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bevorderen van de technische en muzikale ontwikkeling van de orkestleden en van het orkest in zijn geheel. Op lokaal, regionaal en interregionaal vlak de samenwerking bevorderen met onderwijs, overheid, bedrijfswereld, zang- en dansverenigingen. Wij wensen voor een divers publiek boeiende en inspirerende programma\u2019s aanbieden om op deze wijze de drempel voor het publiek te verlagen en de sociale cohesie in de gemeenschap te versterken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De economische finaliteit van de regio\u2019s versterken waarbij de centraal gelegen stad Genk met beschikbare accommodatie een belangrijk uithangbord wordt als multicultureel en etnisch veelzijdige stad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
